Description

  • Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Helps patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
  • Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Host/Cashier

Description

  1. Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
  2. Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
  3. Takes names on a waiting list.
  4. Runs the floor plan board.
  5. Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
  6. Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
  7. Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
  8. Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
  9. Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
  10. Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
  11. Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
  12. Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
  13. Performs other duties as directed.

Banquet Coordinator

Description

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic event planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest

Chef

Description:  Chefs are primarily responsible for overseeing the operation of a kitchen. They coordinate the work of sous chefs and other cooks, who prepare most of the meals. Chefs also have many duties beyond the kitchen. They design the menu, review food and beverage purchases, and train cooks and other food preparation workers. Chefs handle administrative tasks as well as spend time in the kitchen and actively involved on the line.

Pitmaster

Description:  To prepare food orders for the restaurant and to assure the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing the following duties:

The Pitmaster/Meatcutter is responsible for the training of our pit and meat operations and monitoring and managing the overall quality of our smoked meats.  Responsibilities include food quality management, training, proficiency in using our smoker management tools, safety and sanitation practices, working to ensure best food cost and food waste in the pit department and execution of brand excellence through the highest quality barbecue available.

 

Line Cook

Description

To prepare food orders for the restaurant and to assure the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing the following duties:

• Prepares all food items prior to and during meal time periods according to written food orders.
• Prepares, slices and chops meat, cheese and other food products.
• Communicates with servers in a professional manner.
• Orders food and other related items as needed.
• Ensures kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned and turned off at the end of each work day.
• Maintains work areas in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations.
• Maintains food product inventory.
• Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations to management.

Dishwasher responsibilities

  • Operate the industrial dishwasher
  • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles
  • Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
  • Clean dish storage
  • Follow sanitation policies at all times
  • Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
  • Perform opening, closing and side work
  • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
