Description

  • Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Helps patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
  • Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Host/Cashier

Description

  1. Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
  2. Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
  3. Takes names on a waiting list.
  4. Runs the floor plan board.
  5. Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
  6. Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
  7. Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
  8. Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
  9. Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
  10. Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
  11. Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
  12. Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
  13. Performs other duties as directed.

Banquet Coordinator

Description

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic event planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest
